TD fave, Sir Elton John used Donatella Versace’s daughter Allegra’s 18th birthday party back in ‘04 as a ruse to get Donatella into rehab according to a new book, “House of Versace” by Wall Street Journal correspondent, Deborah Ball. Versace was confronted by E-John about getting too crazy on cocaine and he feared for her life and her multimillion dollar company.

According to the book, Donatella snuck off into a bathroom in her Milan mansion to snort a line right before Elton’s surprise ambush.

A genuinely concerned Elton spoke his mind to her assistant claiming that they we’re “doing nothing but enabling Donatella by protecting her. She’s going to die if we don’t do something!”

And doing “something” is exactly what he did. Donatella flew out that very night and checked in to The Meadows, a rehab center in Arizona. We’re not sure if she’s totally sober now or not, but we’re dying to get our hands on the book to find out some more dirt.
