Burberry Runway: Spring/Summer 2010 - London Fashion Week

The British fashion house announced they will be streaming their February 23rd show in 3D to industry people in Paris, Tokyo, Dubai and New York in 3D. Los Angeles insiders will be able to watch the show a few hours later than the broadcast because of the time difference.

Burberry’s chief creative officer, Christopher Bailey tells WWD, ‘We are very excited to announce that we are hosting the first ever truly global fashion show… 3D technology will bring our global audience into the London show space allowing them to see the colours and fabrics, to hear the music and to be a part of that moment when it all finally comes together.’

Fashion editors and VIP guests will be given 3D glasses to watch the show in special ‘customized screening spaces’ created by Bailey himself.

The rest of us can catch the show live on Burberry’s site in 2D. Hmm, we wonder if Anna Wintour will be rocking some dorky 3D glasses.
