The geniuses over at Republic in New Orleans are taking some serious action against the douchebags of the world by implementing a new dress code.
The sign reads, “If it’s on the Jersey Shore, it’s not coming through the door.”
Love it already! It gets better. Listed are some brands synonymous with douches such as Affliction, Christian Audigier, and Ed Hardy.
Nick Thomas, director-of-programing at Republic reveals, “The whole thing is so funny because I was literally watching Jersey Shore in passing at 4 a.m. after being at Republic I thought, nothing would make me happier if not a single person dressed like this was in Republic. Then I thought, “Why can’t that be the rule?”
Someone please give Nick an award of some sorts. This is honestly music to my ears. Let’s hope Republic’s new dress code influences dress codes in LA. All of the morons that insist on wearing these shirts can party over at the Christian Audiger nightclub in Vegas at Treasure Island. Stay there. Thanks.
