Vidal Sassoon: The Movie

We’ve seen movies about fashion designers, actors, and singers, but we haven’t seen one about hairstylists yet. Michael Gordon, founder of Bumble and Bumble, and the companie’s director of new media, Craig Teper, have joined forces to make a movie about the life of Vidal Sassoon.

Vidal Sassoon is best known for revolutionizing hairstyles back in the 1960′s. He transformed the way women wore their hair into simpler more manageable hairstyles. Sassoon made the transition from bouffant styles to modern bobs and pixie cuts.

“The idea for the film started off as a personal tribute to him as he was approaching his 80th birthday, and then it grew into a major initiative to capture this man’s life both in a film and a book.” explains Gordon.

We can’t wait to see this film! If you’re just as eager as us, click here to get more information on the movie!
