Spring has sprung up on us all over again and that only means we have to shop our closets for things we already own and buy pieces that will pull everything together.
Gladiator sandals are here to stay except now they should lace-up instead of buckle.
Cat Eye Sunglasses. These by Ray Ban have large lenses making them more versatile than others.
The Everyday Belt. This one by Linea Pelle will sinch all your florals and flowys in all the right places. The belt is a good buy for sure, as it’s appropriate for every season. Imagine it against black and opaques during the Fall.
The Army coat is this seasons black blazer and you can thank Balmain’s SP ’10 collection for this one. This one by Topshop looks just as ahmazing paired with jeans and a tee, or a feminine dress.
Rompers are back again and whilst some continue to take the boho route, it’s pieces like these that are changing it up.
Cropped jeans are an essential basic this season. Just do a little tuck and roll on the bottom and pair them with your favorite gladi-wedges as we like to call ‘em here, a boyfriend shirt and your set.
Florals are amazing, but only when made of the right fabric. These are gorgeous and light, but steer away from florals printed on stiff material unless it’s a jacket. Florals are meant to be flowy and airy, not constricting.
The Drape Skirt is a hot commodity this season and was seen on many runways, but most religiously, in Burberry Prorsum’s Spring collection.
Clogs were all the rage at Chanel’s Spring runway, as well as some others. These retro kicks would look great with a pair of cropped jeans you have in the dresser.
Get a Fringe bag, and one that looks good too. This Jimmy Choo clutch is to die but if all else fails, try Forever 21.
Boyfriend Blazers are a classic but put your dark-colored ones on hold and substitute for light khakis and blushes.
Tie Dye is huge for S/S ’10, just look at all the rage Proenza Schouler has made. This dress is a subtle way to incorporate the trend.
Raw Jewelry, like this Todd Reed bracelet is all the rage and it’s earthy qualities are perfect for Spring.
The Lace-Up Platform, much like the lace-up flat gladiators, are huge and absolutely comfy. These by Derek Lam are to die and feature a cork sole, perfect for Spring and Summer.
The Chambray Shirt is a classic and while they were really popular with the Home & Garden, Martha Stewart and Bob Villas of the world in the early 90′s these babies are everywhere now. Lightweight and versatile, pick up a boyfriend sized one.
