Tom Nicon walking for Burberry
Just as Men’s Fashion Week kicked off in Milan, French model Tom Nicon’s body was discovered and pronounced dead instantly after he fell four stories off an apartment building. Romantic woes are rumored to have spurred his decision having recently ending his relationship with his girlfriend .
Nicon was spotted earlier on in the day of his death at a rehearsal for a Versace show he was going to walk in.
“He was with us on Friday morning for a final fitting, He seemed fine and calm,” said Donatella Versace. “He had already done three or four shows with us and he was a sweet boy. We just can’t understand why he did what he did. We would never have thought he would do something like this. When we heard the news we were all so upset and we still are all so very sad.”
The tragedies that have hit the fashion industry are tremendous; Recently Noemi Lenoir tried ending her life and a month earlier Ambrose Olsen committed suicide by hanging himself. Last year Daul Kim also hung herself and Ruslana Korshunova ended her life by jumping off her New York balcony.
A tribute for Nicon is scheduled to take place during this fashion week in Milan.
