Inspiration: Sleek and minimalistic with a glamorous, elegant twist, Berardi has produced a collection with pared down simplicity in mind. The form-fitting dresses and trouser suits are effortlessly chic whilst still managing to create an impressive style statement.
Top Trends: A monochromatic palette of black and white is combined with soft mint greens. Delicate fabrics such as lace and sheer knits were juxtaposed with harder, structured crepe pieces.
Accessories: In fitting with the clean lines of the collection, accessories were kept to a minimum, with studded skinny belts and black strappy heels.
Favourite Looks: The all-white dress with cut-out neckline and pleated skirt is perfect for this season’s purism trend, whilst the black short suit with lace blazer offers a chic, sophisticated alternative to trousers.
Thoughts: In his resort collection Berardi offers up a stunning array of pieces with unexpected details, which manage to look both classic and contemporary. The soft/hard elements and textures work together to create real depth to the designs, whilst retaining a beautiful simplicity. Overall the collection was comprised of refined, easy to wear pieces, tailored to perfection.
