Patterson J. Kincaid make ridiculously cool clothes for ridiculously cool girls. Think versatile yet chic pieces, perfect for wearing either alone, or layered up on a cool summers’ night.  According to designer Chelsey Santry, the Spring collection was “inspired by travel” in the sense that it was created “to feel like a girl’s closet of found items”.  A collection of found items which look incredible when worn together, it has to be said.

The beautiful juxtaposition of textures, including washed denim, hand crocheted cardigans and embroidered tanks and tees, provides a luxe take on casual.  Slouchy silhouettes and striking prints combine to make an effortless, summer festival style.

It seems Santrys’ ability to “embody the lifestyle” of her customer in the collection is spot on, successfully anticipating and designing what they want before they even know themselves.

So what’s next for Patterson J. Kincaid? With an introduction of a swim line, as well as talks of a shoe line, in 2012, it appears the label is going from strength to strength.  “We really are  only starting to scratch the surface of the Patterson J. Kincaid brand”, Santry tells us exclusively, news which is no doubt music to the ears of the brands’ many admirers.
