I didn't know!

The Armenian National Committee of America is condemning Turkish Cosmpolitan for using Kim Kardashian’s photo on cover of the magazine. The executive director of the committee tells TMZ:

“It’s disrespectful to Kim Kardashian and to all Armenians for the publishers of Cosmopolitan to use her image, without her permission, on the month we mark Turkey’s genocide against the Armenian people. Instead of trying to turn a profit in Turkey by callously featuring a cover photo of a descendant of Armenian Genocide survivors in its April issue, Cosmopolitan should find creative ways to educate its readers about the Turkish government’s shameful effort to cover up this atrocity.”

Cosmopolitan responded by saying, “Kim Kardashian is one of our favorite cover girls. We were thrilled to have the opportunity to photograph her for the Cosmopolitan editions worldwide.”

P.S. Kim Kardashian is slated to be the first cover-girl of the Armenian edition of Cosmopolitan but we didn’t hear Cosmo or the committee mention it.

A source also reveals that Kim is totally upset and had no idea this photo was going to land on the cover of Turkish Cosmo but the reality star did what they call an “international shoot” meaning any of the photos taken can be placed on any edition of the publication.

Hmm what do you guys think about this?
