Guilty

John Galliano was found guilty of ”public insults based on origin, religious affiliation, race or ethnicity” in a French court today. The designer got into deep shit when he was running around Paris going on and on about how much he loved Hitler and hated Jewish people.

Earlier he released a statement saying: “Antisemitism and racism have no part in our society. I unreservedly apologize for my behavior in causing any offense.” Changed man? We’d like to hope so.

Galliano‘s potential sentence was a fine of over $30k but he was charged a suspended fine of over $8k today and that pretty much means it’ll go on his criminal record but he doesn’t really have to pay it. Um, yeah, we don’t get it either.
