What’s TD’s Story?
After realizing certain store employees had begun to know her by name, Tania Tchapanian, the site’s Editor-in-Chief, founded Trés Dope in 2009 as an attempt to seek retail therapy without necessarily shopping. To her surprise, what started as a therapeutic and meager blog has gained avid readers in its short existence.
Her friend, Lusine Daglian, hopped on board a few months after the website was founded, becoming an Executive Editor and site partner who also shops like it’s a sport.
Both L.A. natives have done some work in the world of fashion and entertainment journalism, and together create an outlet for fashion, entertainment, and beauty admirers alike to get the 411 sans the clutter and confusion.
Tania has dreams of becoming a professor-entrepreneur, jet-setter gypsy, and a part of the Manhattan Elite with the ability to donate bags upon bags of money to those in need one day.
Lusine aspires to become a leading businesswoman, connoisseur of fashion and music, and a world-traveling humanitarian who can help make lives better for people in need.
