Get a CK Jeans Sweatshirt You Owned in the '90s for $247 Today
I will never forget the day I bought my first CK Jeans ensemble. It consisted of this very sweatshirt and some matching black CK jeans. Calvin Klein was definitely my first fashion crush – my rebound after I had to end things with Limited Too because their designs started to get way too colorful for my taste. Calvin Klein made child versions of his adult clothing which was like crack for a kid who didn't like dressing like a kid.
When I stumbled upon this sweater on the swanky Mytheresa.com, I was like "oh my gah" and then I saw the price. I had my jaw open for so long that my coffee went cold. Of course, because I'm insane, I started to get really pissed at myself for donating all of my CK sweatshirts. I shortly realized there was now way I was going to ever fit in them again.
I don't think I'd ever pay $247 for this sweater because, well, it's conveniently described as being "faded" which all know means "used" in '90s clothing. There was no such thing as faded Calvin Klein sweaters. Don't you remember how crazy you were about making sure your clothes didn't look faded? Your best bet is to keep a look out for one at your local thrift shop. Would you fork over this much money for nostalgic purposes?
