How to Wear Black, Ripped Jeans and Why They're Basically the Shit
This is hard to even fathom but black, ripped jeans are, in a sense, more of a logical investment than that pair of distressed blue dungarees you've been eying.
First off, they're black which we cool people can all agree is definitely a color (sorry, color theory snobs) and the best one at that. Second, opting for a noir pair of distressed denim might be a smart move because they can look a little more "appropriate" and less "homeless" when you're dressing for certain situations. We say, "certain situations" because elders will still question your life when you roll up in ripped jeans — whether they're black or not. Don't even think about telling them you bought them that way, too. And lastly, they are so damn versatile. I mean, look at all the ways you can style them?
So, if you haven't got yourself a pair, take some sheers and distress some old black skinnies yourself, or check the selection on the right.
