Colorblocking is a strong trend seen on the Spring runways of Gucci, Jill Sander, Prabal Gurung, Dior and more. The idea of is to pair two or more colors in an ensemble, whether it be a pre-colorblocked dress consisting of two different shades or colorful solids you piece together. The best way to pull this off is to make sure all separates are solid and stay clear of any prints.

Afraid of the trend? It’s okay! You can colorblock the top portion of your out fit and stick to solid bottoms; Try pairing black skinny jeans with something like a yellow blazer, blue silk top and pink shoe. Fur hasn’t and isn’t going anywhere. Designers went fur crazy for the Fall 2011 season which offered those of us who splurged on the real thing (even the faux) the last Fall-Winter season, a sigh of relief.
