Christian Louboutin’s Spring 2011 lookbook has been released and I’m so happy I’m not crazy about anything I saw except for the shoes above but it wouldn’t kill me if I didn’t have them. I am however feeling the gray ripple handbag, a lot!
Sadly, there’s something very Steve Madden-esque about this collection. No, I’m not knocking Madden, it’s more like I’d rather pay $100 for a pair of his shoes than around a grand for something out of this collection. Trust me, it almost killed me a little inside to type that last sentence. What do you think of the collection?

Dubbed the Bibi, these suede Christian Louboutin platforms with a chunky heel make standing on your feet for hours a tad less painful. Halle Berry (not pictured), Florence Welch, Sandra Bullock and Blake Lively all have a pair of these. Of course Anna Wintour’s BFF Blake has another pair in tan. Valley Girl represent!
Ahhh! I want to wake up Christmas morning and see these shoes under the tree but that’s probably not going to happen unless I buy them myself somehow (somehow = do hood thangs). That and I’m totally trying to be an adult here and actually beg for something I NEED (recession woes) like a buhdass camera instead of a pair of shoes. Ugh, Anna Wintour, please be my friend I want free shit.
While Blake Lively was in Paris she got a tour of Christian Louboutin’s atelier where she proclaimed her love of a shoe and in turn Louboutin named it “The Blake” after her.
“I want to sleep with it under my pillow every night,” says Blake.
Lively has been gallivanting around Paris dining with Karl Lagerfeld and going to shows with Anna Wintour.
She’s gorgeous and talented but out of curiosity, why is everyone obsessed with her? Why her?

Blake Lively opted out of showing off her bubbies and decided to showcase her midriff instead in this Chanel mini dress. Blake paired the resort ’11 frock with Louboutin sling-backs. Think it was styled well?
Christian Louboutin revealed his “supertop customer” to British Vogue. While some might have guessed Victoria Beckham, Sarah Jessica Parker, or Jennifer Lopez (since she wrote a song about his heels), those guesses would be wrong. Danielle Steele takes the title by a long shot.
“She comes to Paris, and she literally buys everything. Then she flies back to New York, says, ‘I’m a little disappointed – there’s nothing in the store,’ and walks out with 80 pairs. She is super.” says Louboutin of the author.
Steele owns in excess of 6,000 pairs! Who would have thought?
While a pair of Christian Louboutins may not be the most appropriate dancing shoes, the designer shows off his moves in a 5-minute video brought to us by Fashionair. We have to admit, he looks pretty damn adorable, but of course, it’s the shoes we have our eyes on and how amazing they look on-stage.
