Hells Angels Are Suing Alexander McQueen

Alexander McQueen "Hells Four Finger Ring"

According to reports the Hells Angels Motorscycle Club/Gang has filed a lawsuit against Alexander McQueen and retailers like Zappos and Saks Fifth Avenue claiming they produced and sold items carrying the trademarked Hells Angels winged death head design.

What’s the issue here?

“If you’ve got one of these rings on, a member might get really upset that you’re an imposter,” says a Hells Angel member.

Representatives for PPR Gucci Group (owners of Mcqueen), Zappos and Saks Fifth Avenue have yet to release a statement.

Earlier on in the day she wore a Pre-Fall ’10 Alexander McQueen Longsleeve X-Ray dress paired with Brian Atwood Harrison Pumps.

A memorial service was held for Alexander McQueen this morning in London at St. Paul’s Cathedral. Guests included: Sarah Jessica Parker, Anna Wintour, Naomi Campbell, and Stella McCartney. The designer was found dead in his apartment earlier this year in February. Saying he would be “greatly missed” was an understatement. Viva McQueen!

Philip Treacy Wants Brad Pitt to Play Him in Isabella Blow Flick

Now is that right? Hat maker extraordinaire, Philip Treacy, wants Brad Pitt to portray him in the biopic about his friend/ muse to McQueen, Isabella Blow.

“I am trying desperately to forget that someone will actually have to play me in this film. I would never want to appear in it myself- I am a hat designer not an actor. Acting isn’t my forte. If I could pick anyone I’d run with Brad Pitt but it’s wishful thinking and perhaps not very likely I know”, Treacy told Vogue.

We don’t know about Brad Pitt? I can think of a bunch of actors that are better suited physically, but I am so drawing a blank right now, don’t even try to crank it out of me.

While that wish may be up in the air, Treacy did confirmed that the film is to be written by Max Nesome and produced by Anders Palm.

According to reports Alexander McQueen was having a hard time turning a profit. Although his ten year old line was a hit with Hollywood and the fashion world, the brand still couldn’t return on it’s investment.

If his brand is having a hard time, who knows what other designers are going through. It’s already difficult to get your name out there, get investors, and hope to see a profit but on top of it, we’ve got this crappy economy to deal with.
