Vanity Sizing Makes Its Way into Men’s Fashion; Pants Labeled Smaller to Make Dudes Feel Less Fat

Not cool. Not freaking cool. Yeah vanity sizing makes us feel better sometimes but you know what? It would be pretty damn nice if we all new what our legit size was. If we lived in a world where we could go to Old Navy and Prabal Gurung and ask for the same exact size and know it would fit every time. Yes that would be nice.

Now men have to face this problem at retailers like Old Navy and Gap who have both been doing this with womenswear forever. A pair of pants with a waist of 36 at Gap are actually a size 39 and at Old Navy actually a whopping size 41. Cray!

CFDA/VOGUE Winner Designs at Gap

Monique Pean, Patrik Ervell and Sophie Theallet are this year’s CFDA/Vogue Fund winners and their designs for Gap go on sale today. The items will be sold at New York City’s 5th Avenue Gap rotating concept store while supplies last.

“I love this partnership because it allows us to raise awareness of emerging design talent while giving our customers access to exciting new designers at an affordable price. Leaving the theme open this year enabled the designers to reinterpret the range of Gap’s iconic wardrobe essentials while staying true to their own point of view. The result: three covetable collections.” said Gap’s Executive Vice President of Design, Patrick Robinson.

The merchandise ranges from $28 to $298. Go get your favorite items before they run out!

GAG ALERT: Retailers Sell Used, Returned Panties [VIDEO]

Visit msnbc.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy

This is so nasty, where does one begin!?! NBC is doing another report on their series on filth and germs and this has to be the most disturbing one. Like the heading says, popular underwear retailers sell used, odor exuding panties.

BLEH. What I don’t get is I’ve shopped at all of these retailers and every time I’ve tried to return something without tags, I am given the same speech: No tags, no return. Does that mean the people returning the panties leave the tags on and wear them? Gross, who knows? Wash all of your new undies before you wear ‘em I guess.
