A Look at Jimmy Choo Men’s Collection

Photos of the highly-anticipated Jimmy Choo men’s collection in its entirety have officially surfaced thanks to the people at Vogue.

“It has always been part of my long term vision for Jimmy Choo as a luxury lifestyle brand to be for both men and women,” Tamara Mellon tells the magazine.

“The collection fuses modern British style with luxurious Italian craftsmanship, a mod aesthetic with a cheeky hint of a Sixties Mayfair playboy,” she describes.

Now what type of man wears Jimmy Choo you ask?

“It is really designed for the man on the arm of the Jimmy Choo woman, following the same theme of going out, whether it be to work, to the shops, to dinner or a club,” Mellon says.

The Ugg and Jimmy Choo capsule line has been officially released and is all set for you to pre-order online.

If you have $595-$795 to waste, yeah waste, this is what you would want to spend that money on.

I swear I’m not one of those people who hate Uggs, I actually think they are brilliant and pretty damn perfect for the cold weather. I also love Jimmy Choo damnit but these two together really are a match made on MySpace.

I really wanted to like these and maybe I would if they were the price of regular Uggs I’d buy a pair. What do you think?

Really? Minnetonka Moccasin inspired fringe mixed with some of Avril Lavigne’s bedazzler work on a pair of short black classic UGGs don’t scream Jimmy Choo to me but hell this collaboration was doomed since it’s announcement. I’m trying hard to keep the barf down.

Inside Tamara Mellon’s Closet

Tamara Mellon, founder of Jimmy Choo, revealed her closet in her new 7,140 square-foot penthouse duplex. Mellon had an entire wall knocked down to add six feet of space. The expansion was needed to accommodate her collection of shoes and accessories.

After 800 pairs of shoes, Ms. Mellon has lost count of how many pairs of shoes she owns. With the exception of a pair of Ugg boots and a couple of pairs of Nike sneakers, all her shoes are Jimmy Choo!
