Looks like we can put the sibling drama rumors to rest because Lily Allen and her sister Sarah Owen have indeed produced a fashion collection inspired by their vintage store in LDN, Lucy in Disguise.
“After we’d launched the shop, I think we both felt that we wanted to create vintage styles with more contemporary, clean lines,” Allen told Vogue.

Our favorite Valley Girl, Blake Lively, was the topic of a pretty big fashion rumor this morning that implies she will be Karl Lagerfeld’s next choice to front a Chanel handbag campaign.
If you remember the highly coveted position had serious buzz earlier made by Lily Allen who got dropped like an iPhone call.
According to a source, Blake was in Paris on Saturday where the ads where shot.
If this is true, we can expect to see the advertisements in magazines early next year.

Derrière les Scenes: Lily in Disguise Produces Short Film
Lily Allen and her sister have officially opened up shop at their Covent Garden vintage store dubbed Lucy in Disguise. Here’s a behind the scenes video they shot of models in gorgeous vintage items. Hopefully the shop remains open the next time I’m in Londontown so I can make sure to stumble over there after a bottle of wine at the Crusting Pipe.

Lily Allen and her sister’s vintage shop Lucy in Disguise, you know the one she left music for, has launched it’s website which features a blog and section where you can check out new items in their inventory. Sadly there is no e-store and the only way you can get to these duds is if you happen to live near their Covent Garden shop in London. Eh, judging by the website there isn’t much of a selection anyway.

Talk about a huge fashion faux paus! Eva Mendes, Lily Allen and Danish model Freja Beha Erichsen we’re all featured on August magazine covers in the same Miu Miu dress. Miu Miu’s PR person is probably celebrating at a bar somewhere right now. Lily wore the lilac version of the frock in Elle while Eva and Freja wore the orange. This is hilarious! Chanel Drops Lily Allen
Oh Lily! Maybe working in the fashion industry is just not for you.
Lily Allen has been dropped from being the face of Chanel handbags. Her new replacement is Vanessa Paradis who has also been the face of Chanel fragrances for the past two years.
“Karl had a show and a party, but Lily was not invited. It was Karl’s way of making it clear she is no longer a part of the Chanel family. He instructed his people not to invite her. He is very strict about who can represent the brand and there is a feeling that Lily is too much of a party girl,” said a source.
Karl throws parties, but he definitely wants everyone to keep it classy! Especially those who represent his brand.
Lily and Her Sister Feuding Over Vintage Store
Lily Allen recently announced her hiatus from music and the blossoming of her next venture, a vintage store by the name of Lucy in Disguise. The store’s co-owner is Lily’s sister, Sarah Owen, and according to reports, the two have been arguing over how much press the store should recieve.
“There have been other issues over how much press they do together and how high-profile they make the project. Lily wants to keep the project low-key rather than turn it into a big celebrity thing but Sarah seems to have other ideas. It’s causing big problems.”
According to a source there has always been a bit of hostility between the pair since Sarah revealed publicly that Lily attempted suicide when she was a teen. Hmm, sounds like Lily’s sister isn’t the right person to do business with since. Our radar tells us she is a typical attention fiend.
