Prevailing from the vast sea of fashion fails last night at the American Music Awards were the ladies donning Fall’s ever-so-popular lace trend.  While most opted for classic black, Rihanna stood out in a gorgeous wine-colored Elie Saab gown. Julianne Hough wore a floor-length Marchesa and slave to the mini dress, Heidi Klum,  also sported a lengthy gown. Natasha Bedingfield went the shorter route in a mid-length flowy frock.
