Sarah Jessica Parker looks pretty damn good on the cover of Elle’s January 2011 issue shot by the talented Tom Munro. A gorgeous spread accompanies the cover as well as an interview in which Sarah explains her thoughts on aging, her capabilities as the Chief Creative Officer at Halston, as well as sharing some deets about her kids.
[Gallery not found]On her reaction to being offered the position of President and Chief Creative Officer at Halston and Halston Heritage: “I kept saying, ‘You understand, by offering this you are going to be criticized?’ It took me a long time to say yes.”
On taking her role at Halston very seriously: “I said, ‘Please know this now: I will never do this for a title. I will never dip in and out of this. I’ll do it like everything else I’ve ever done. I’ll be involved down to the splitting of the atom.’”
On her design skills: “I might not have the language; I can’t always tell you the exact blend of a fabric, but I figure it out.”
On meeting the twins after their birth: “[Meeting them] is hard to describe. Everything is suspended. I can’t even tell you what other sounds were in the room. I loved them immediately, but everything—their size, the shape of their heads, the color of their hair, their noses, their eyes—was new to me. They looked surprisingly different from James Wilkie, which I wasn’t expecting.”
On aging naturally: “I don’t know what I can do about the aging. Yes, I am aging. Oh my God, I’m aging all the time. It’s like those flowers that wilt in front of you in time-lapse films. But what can I possibly do? Look like a lunatic?”
Sarah Jessica Parker wore an interesting dress by Vivienne Westwood paired with her favorite Nicholas Kirkwood blue lacy shoes at the premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows. Do you think her outfit is fabulous or a total fail?

In the midst of SATC mania, who better than Sarah Jessica Parker to be featured in TD’s Style Résumé this month? Today, SATC 2 comes out in theaters everywhere and we at Très Dope are prepared to salivate over all the fashion in the flick. Sex and the City has been on the air since 1998 and we have the show to thank for the utilization of the word frenemie and the luxury shoe craze among other things. Like everyone, SJP has had some fashion misses in the earlier years but by looking at her style now, you would have never guessed it. We love Sarah because she (+ her stylist) has effortlessly mastered mixing her own personal style with the style of Carrie Bradshaw whom we can thank Patricia Field for. She is abso-f**king-lutely one of the best dressed women of our time.
All the girls looked gorgeous at the Sex and the City 2 premiere last night! However, in our opinion Sarah Jessica Parker took the best dressed award home with her stunning Valentino couture dress. Kristen Davis chose a beautiful vintage Jean dress by Decades Inc. Kim Catrall didn’t thrill us in her Naeem Khan dress. Last but not least, Cynthia Nixon opted for a simple black gown by Carolina Herrera.

Sarah Jessica Parker revealed that while shooting Sex and the City 2, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis all slept in the same bed together.
“Being away for that long made our bond even closer and I think you can see that on screen. We lived together, ate every single meal together, stayed in one dressing room together – we sometimes slept in the same bed together,” said Parker.
She even revealed her least favorite scene from the upcoming Sex and The City 2. That scene would be performing a karoake version of “I Am Woman.”
“I find doing karaoke incredibly depressing,” added Parker.
Whether or not she finds it depressing, we can’t wait to see it. We are all waiting impatiently for May 27th when the film is finally released!

The picture is pretty self-explanatory and all I can say is LMFAO. We all know Sarah Jessica Parker (shown in Balmain) has grandma hands so who thought photoshopping hands that look like Selena Gomez’s on her was a good idea?
