Even though these shows are an inch away from being super weird there is no denying the fact that they are ridiculously fierce. The man that replaced Tom Ford at Yves Saint Laurent, Stefano Pilati is rumored to be getting fired by the fashion house.
No bueno.
According to the NY Post, “The house is tired of his antics, like blowing off reporters, partying too hard and making clothes that no one wants to buy, and they have decided to sack him.”
Supposedly Oliver Theyskens of Nina Ricci (meh) is going to take his place.
The NY Post later reported that a spokesperson for the YSL denied the rumor. Let’s hope they aren’t just playing nice.

Salma, what are you doing? WHAT ARE YOU DOING? Salma Hayek was out at Stella McCartney’s SS11 show (her husband owns Stella’s line) in Paris wearing what looks like a turban. Luckily Salma is effing gorgeous and her life is totally the shit so it really doesn’t matter what she wears because she is married to fashion royalty.
Hayek quickly redeemed herself at Yves Saint Laurent with her husband FHP (he owns YSL too) looking deerishous in red.
Anyways it’s not fucking fair, I want to live Salma’s life during Paris Fashion Week.

Stefano Pilati is a genius and if you don’t agree, you’ve got issues. Yeah he generally loves designing things in monochromatic shades but so what? Craftsmanship + design > damn color and prints.
Don’t these shoes make you want to be a guy for a day or buy them for every cool male you know? Obviously, the first man I’d consider buying these for (that depends on if my credit card goes through) would be my dad (DGFL-Daddy’s Girl For LIFE homes). Unfortunately he and high-tops don’t mesh too well.
Drew Barrymore has been spotted attending premieres, parties and talk show appearances this month wearing two different pairs of sky-high Yves Saint Laurent ‘Tribtoo’ suede pumps and the Balmain Leather Double Buckle waist belt. Do you think she committed a fashion faux pas? Yes would be the obvious answer but the platforms on those YSLs are a dream to walk in and well, a Balmain belt is a Balmain belt after all.
